We purchased the 3-step Bear Stairs for our 14 year old miniature poodle because he was having trouble jumping off of our bed and we didn't want him to injure himself (or wet the bed out of anxiety as he cried at the edge of the bed!) We were concerned that he would be able to learn to use the steps. Your service and price were the best we found, and your product the most attractive.

Well, I can report that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! He uses the steps exclusively to get off the bed (still jumps up on it, but that's ok)! After a couple of days of confusion -- first time we put him on the little staircase he froze in terror, his little toes all splayed outward, and just stood there or clambered back onto the bed. But after a couple of days and a couple of "teaching tries" he got the idea and now he uses his stairs to get down from "way up there"!
